RIDE WITH REGULAR TRAIN ON BOHINJ RAILWAY
RIDE WITH A VISIT TO THE MUSEUM OF WORLD WAR I IN KOBARID
We will alight at the Most na Soči railway station and continue the journey by bus. Accompanied by tour guides, we will drive to Kobarid, a small and friendly city by the river Soča, at the foothills of the mighty Mount Krn (2,244m). First we will visit one of the most famous Slovenian museums in Kobarid, which offers visitors the most comprehensive story of the so-called Isonzo Front, mountain fighting in the Julian Alps during World War I, and the 12th battle of the Isonzo in detail. We will see a documentary film, objects, weapons and uniforms, and learn about the warfare and life on the Isonzo Front. After the Museum, we will visit the nearby ossuary with St. Anthony’s church and the monument dedicated to the fallen Italian soldiers in World War I. We will round off the first part of our excursion with a typical meal at a local restaurant.
After lunch we will make our way to the so-called Napoleon bridge in Kobarid and then return to Most na Soči, where we will rejoin the steam beauty and travel back to Bled and Jesenice.

The price includes:
Ride with a regular passenger train, local bus ride to Goriška Brda, English speaking guide, a visit of Museum and ossuary and all arrangements.
Terms and Conditions:
- Bookings can be made at the tourist office ABC rent a car and turizem d.o.o. and authorised partners. To make a reservation, we need some information about the passenger (first name and surname, date of birth and contact phone number). The reservation is confirmed when the ticket is paid.
- Reservations for individual guests can be cancelled up to 7 days prior to departure without any cancellation fee. If the cancellation occurs within the last 7 days before the trip, ABC rent a car in turizem d.o.o. reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the programme price. If the cancellation is made on the day of the trip or in case of no-show, ABC rent a car and turizem d.o.o. will retain the whole prepaid amount. You may also opt to pay cancellation risk insurance.
