The Slovene Coast may be short, but that takes nothing away from its charms: you can take a stroll through the narrow medieval streets of the towns of Piran, Koper or Izola, or see the world go by on the seafront promenade in the resort town of Portorož. You can pamper yourself in several thermal water swimming pools or go swimming in the Adriatic Sea. You can either have a fish picnic on a boat or take the catamaran and “fly” over the waves to Venice and back in one day.

Daytrips to the Slovene Istrian hinterland or to the ancient coastal as well as hilltop towns of Croatian Istria are also an interesting proposition given that these attractive places are just a stone's throw away.

And, last but certainly not least, numerous possibilities for recreation in, on, above and along the water await you.

You are invited to visit the Coast in summer as well as in winter and, we assure you, you will not regret it.
